The process starts with a free site survey and no-obligation consultation. We visit your property (home or business), assess the rooms, measure heat loads, discuss your needs, and recommend the most suitable system. This helps us provide an accurate, fixed-price quote tailored to your space and budget.

For a standard single-split system (one indoor and one outdoor unit), the installation usually takes 4 to 8 hours on the day. Larger systems or multi-room setups may take 1–2 days. We always aim to minimise disruption and leave your property clean and tidy.

Our qualified engineers will:

• Mount the indoor unit on the wall
• Drill a small core hole (approx. 60–70mm) through the external wall for the pipework and cabling
• Securely install the outdoor unit on a suitable base or brackets
• Connect the refrigerant pipes, interconnecting wiring, and condensate drain
• Vacuum and pressure test the system, then commission and test it thoroughly

We use dust sheets and clean up thoroughly before we leave.

Planning permission is always the customer’s responsibility to check and obtain if required. In most residential cases it is not needed for standard wall-mounted systems, but it may be necessary for listed buildings, conservation areas, or certain commercial properties. We recommend you check with your local council. All our installations fully comply with current F-Gas regulations and Building Regulations.

We take great care to keep disruption to a minimum. The only noticeably messy part is drilling the small hole through the wall, which is done quickly with protective sheets. Our engineers are experienced and always leave the site clean and tidy at the end of the day.

Not much! Just ensure clear access to the chosen locations for the indoor and outdoor units. It helps if you can move any furniture or items away from the installation area on the day. We’ll discuss everything you need to know during the survey and again before the install date.
